CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 13.02.2019 It is submitted that petitioner was former employee of respondent No.2. The FIR No. 161/2007 under Sections 454/380/411/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Mukherjee Nagar against the petitioner on the complaint of respondent no.2. As per the FIR the petitioner had stolen certain goods from the shop of respondent no.2.
Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and has also received the settled amount of `30,000/-. Respondent no. 2 says that he has no objection in case aforesaid FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be
served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
