The present petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging wilful disobedience/non-compliance of the directions contained in the order dated 02.08.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 10700/2024. It transpires that on 29.11.2024, the claim of the petitoner was rejected by way of somewhat cryptic communication which reads as under:- 3.

Given the circumstances, the Office of the IG, SFF, East Block-V, Level-IV, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066, is directed to grant a hearing to the petitioner and take a decision as to whether the petitioner is entited to the grant of notional increment for pensionary benefits. Let a fresh order be passed by the Office of the IG, SFF, taking into account the contentions of the petitioner and the relevant rules and regulations in this regard. Let the aforesaid exercise be completed within a period of eight weeks from today. 5.

Needless to say, if the petitioner is aggrieved therewith, he shall be at liberty to take recourse to independent proceedings in accordance with law. 6.
