Present petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions and/or any other appropriate order to the learned Judge Family Court (hereinafter referred as „Family Court‟), District North West, Rohini Courts, Delhi for expeditious adjudication/disposal of the GP No.05/2021 titled as „Raveesh Ranjan vs. Smt.Alips Srivastava‟. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present custody petition under Section 25 of Guardianship & Wards Act, 1980 (hereinafter referred as „The Act‟) was instituted before the learned Judge Family Court on 28.01.2021 along with an application seeking interim custody/visitation rights of the minor child under Section 12 of the Act, however, since then the application is pending disposal and the visitation with the child has not commenced till now. In the meanwhile, learned counsel for the petitioner has filed second application under Section 12 of the Act seeking interim The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. custody and visitation with the minor child which is also pending adjudication. Subsequently, petitioner filed third interim application under Section 12 of the Act which is also pending adjudication since 25.08.2023. It is submitted that in such a manner, child will be completely alienated from the petitioner, therefore, the learned Judge, Family Court be directed to dispose of the application seeking interim visitation/custody expeditiously. 3.
It is submitted that the next date of hearing before the learned Judge, Family Court is 20.03.2024.

In view of above and having considered the orders passed in the guardianship petition, the learned Judge, Family Court is directed to take up for hearing of the arguments on the application seeking interim custody/ visitation on 20.03.2024, i.e. the date already fixed before it and to dispose of the same preferably within a month.
