Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, however, submits that he has filed an application for OCI card, which is still pending with the respondents.

Let the competent authority to deal with the petitioner's application and to pass an appropriate order within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order passed today.

While taking a decision, the respondents shall bear in mind the order passed by this Court on 28.01.2025 in W.P.(C) 5375/2024. 5.
