% 13.03.2020 CRL.M.A.No.2189/2020 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

CRL.M.C. 517/2020 This petition is for quashing of the FIR No.142/2014 under Section 498A/406/34 of IPC, P.S. Mandawali Fazalpur. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner the matter has amicably settled between the husband and wife vide a settlement agreement dated 03.10.2019 and the decree of divorce has been granted. A sum of Rs.2,80,000/- has been paid today to the respondent no.2-wife in full and final settlement of all her claims. The complainant/respondent no.2-wife along with her counsel is present and accepts the settlement.

Considering the above facts the FIR No.142/2014 is quashed alongwith the emanating proceedings therefrom.

The petition stands disposed of. Pending application(s) if any, also stands disposed of.
