Respondents have moved an application under Section 151 CPC whereby permission has been sought to take on record the compliance affidavit.

Admittedly, petitioner had filed a writ petition earlier which was disposed of on 13.12.2023 and while disposing of the same, petitioner was permitted to give a detailed representation to the respondents and respondents were directed to decide the same in accordance with law without being influenced with anything stated in the impugned order dated 11.08.2023. 3.

Though, there was a direction to decide the representation within a period of eight weeks from the receipt of representation made by the petitioner, since representation was not decided within the aforesaid timeframe, present contempt petition was filed. Now, it has been informed that representation has already been decided way back on 10.05.2024. It has also been informed that delay has taken place because of the fact that the situation in Manipur was not very conducive. 5.

It has also been informed by respondents that aforesaid decision taken by the respondents has already been challenged by the petitioner by filing a writ petition which has been registered as W.P. (C) No. 9307/2024 and it is, therefore, prayed that present contempt petition may be disposed of as nothing further survives in the present matter. 6.

Learned counsel for petitioner has joined the proceedings through videoconferencing and admits the aforesaid factual position and submits that in view of the afovesaid development and the fact that petitioner has already filed a substantive petition, even petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing with his present contempt petition.

In view of aforesaid, present contempt petition is disposed of as not pressed.

All the rights and contents of the parties are reserved. 9.
