O R D E R

% 01.02.2018 Appellants and respondent no. 2 (complainant) have settled their disputes before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre on 29th January, 2018, vide a Settlement Agreement mark "C-1". Learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 says that settled amount has already been received by the respondent no. 2; therefore, respondent no. 2 has no objection in case offence under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2013 is permitted to be compounded.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the appellants and

respondent no. 2 before the Mediation Centre, inasmuch as settled amount having been paid by the appellants to the respondent no. 2, offence under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2013 is permitted to be compounded. Appellants are acquitted.

Appeal is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
