The present writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of order, wherein the date of death the deceased Roshan Lal S/o Shri Bishan Singh, has been changed from 14th January, 1985 to 4th January, 1985. 2.

From the record, it appears that the date of death was changed by MCD in the year 2018, pursuant to an order passed by this Court on 23rd October, 2018 in W.P.(C) 11427/2018, titled "Hem Chand Jain Vs. Commissioner South MCD and Ors."

It is submitted that the aforesaid change of date is causing prejudice to the petitioner in a civil suit filed by respondents no.2 to 6 against the petitioner.

If the petitioner is aggrieved by the date of death being 4th January, 1985, then it would be for the petitioner to lead relevant evidence to show W.P.(C) 3627/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. that the actual date of death was 14th January, 1985. 5.

This cannot be done by way of the present writ petition. 6.

The writ petition along with pending applications stands disposed of, while giving liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps available in law.
