O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 172/2024 1.

This is a joint petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, which is seisin of disputes between the parties under an agreement dated 26.04.2016.

The Arbitral Tribunal was constituted pursuant to an order of this Court dated 25.05.2021 in ARB.P. 538/2021. The mandate of the tribunal was mutually extended on 20.01.2023 for a period of six months; and for O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 172/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. a further period of six months by an order of this Court dated 31.08.2023 in O.M.P.(MISC)(COMM) 310/2023.

Learned counsel for the parties state that arguments have been concluded before the learned Arbitrator, who has indicated that an extension of two months would suffice for pronouncing the award. 4.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances above, the joint petition of the parties is accepted, and the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended for a period of two months with effect from 01.03.2024.

The petition stands disposed of in these terms.
