The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking that the respondents be directed to ascertain the present status / well-being of the petitioner's daughter holding Indian passport number U-8570568, UID number 224272676 and inmate UID number 2055347, languishing in Al Wathba Central Jail, Abu Dhabi.

Learned ASG, who appears on behalf of the respondents, informs that the petitioner's daughter has been executed in Abu Dhabi on 15.02.2025. He submits that the last rites of the petitioner's daughter will be performed on 05.03.2025, and that appropriate assistance is being extended to the petitioner and other family members to enable them to perform the last rites The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
