The learned APP for the State invites the attention of the Court to the status report filed by the SHO, Lodhi Road dated 18.08.2023 to submit that the respondent Gaja Nand Rao has expired on 20.08.2020. 2.

A receipt issued by the MCD, Cremation Ground, Dakshin Puri indicating death of the deceased Gaja Nand Rao S/o Sh. Narain Rao is also on record.

In view of the above position, the present appeal against the respondent Gaja Nand Rao stands abated.
