Petitioner seeks regular bail in FIR No. 162/2013 under Sections 302/201/34 of the IPC registered at Police Station Adarsh Nagar.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued for expeditious disposal of the case, he shall not press this application at this stage. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that one of the accused is absconding and as such the trial is not progressing. Learned Addl. PP under instructions submits that appropriate steps under Section 82 Cr. P.C. are being taken against the absconder. 4.

Keeping in view the fact that all the prosecution witnesses have already been recorded and only the Investigating Officer remains to BAIL APPLN. 383/2019

be recorded, trial court is directed to expedite the proceedings and endeavour to conclude the recording of the prosecution evidence within a period of three months from the next date of hearing before the trial court.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.

Order dasti under signatures of the Court Master. 8.

Copy of the order be also communicated to the trial court for compliance.
