The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.) seeking to issue a direction to the Judge, Family Court, Dwarka, New Delhi to decide the maintainability application filed by the petitioner. 2.
Issue notice.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed an application regarding the maintainability of the petition under Section 125 of the Cr.P.C. before the Judge, Family Court, Dwarka, New Delhi which has been pending since 13.7.2017 in MT
No.668/2017 and prayed his only prayer is that the Trial Court may be directed to decide the application expeditiously. 5.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the matter is now fixed on 16.2.2019 before the Trial Court. 6.
The Trial Court is directed to decide the application of the petitioner dated 13.7.2017 filed by the petitioner expeditiously preferably on 16.2.2019, the date fixed. The Trial Court is otherwise as per law, duty bound to decide the petitions or applications pending before it expeditiously.

In view of the aforesaid directions, the petition is allowed and disposed of.
