This petition has been filed by the claimant seeking directions for disbursal of the enhanced compensation awarded by the judgment of this Court dated 04th December 2024 in MAC.APP. 958/2013. 2.

This Court, directed re-computation of the compensation, enhancing the compensation to Rs.20,45,640/- along with interest @ 7.5% per annum. However, the Court did not pass specific directions for disbursal, though the same was implied in paragraph 30 of the judgment of this Court, which is extracted as under:

In the execution proceedings filed by the claimant before the MACT, the Insurance Company was discharged by order dated 01st December 2025, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. as amount had been deposited; however, no directions for disbursal were passed.

The present petition, therefore, seeks directions for disbursal of the amounts deposited before the Tribunal.

Considering that the petitioner is now 69 years of age and has suffered grievous injuries, including a below-knee amputation, in the accident which occurred on 14th June 2008, and further considering that the claimant's appeal has been allowed and the amounts have been deposited before the MACT, the same may be released for the benefit of the claimant into the designated bank accounts of the claimant.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. 7.
