By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), the petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant parole for a period of two months.

made, however, as the same has not been made before the concerned Authorities it is still pending.

Issue notice. Learned proxy counsel for the State accepts notice. He submits that without adverting to the merits involved, since the petitioner is to have a surgery scheduled on 21.04.2026, he submits that the aforesaid representation shall be decided within a period of two weeks. 6.

In view of the aforesaid, since there is nothing surviving herein the present petition is disposed of.
