This writ petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- <(i) Issue directions to respondent no. 1 to immediately restore the electricity connection of CA No. 60009798202 bearing meter no. 10178577 installed at property bearing House No. 577, Gali No. 5, Block - A, Janta Vihar Village, Mukandpur City, Delhi- 110042, (ii) Issue directions to Respondent No. 1 to hold departmental inquiry against respondent no. 2, 3 and the concerned and erring officials of their concerned department, for illegally disconnecting the electricity of the petitioners, W.P.(C) 2693/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. (iii) Award compensation of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh) in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents for the harassment and mental agony caused to them, (iv) Cost of the petition also be awarded in favour of the Petitioner and against the respondents.= 4.

Learned counsel for Respondents/TPDDL appearing on advance copy of the writ petition submits that disconnection of electricity was on account of theft and a bill has been generated and issued to the Petitioner. In support, copies of the bill and inspection report are handed over, which are taken on record. Copy of the documents have also been handed over to learned counsel for the Petitioner.

At this stage, on instructions from the Petitioner, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach Civil Court.
