Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

This Letters Patent Appeal assails an order dated 31.01.2025 passed by learned Single Judge whereby the W.P. (C) 133/2025 has been disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to approach the Special Task Force. 3.

The petitioner had filed the said writ petition seeking a direction to stop alleged, illegal and unauthorized constructions for a particular plot and to seal and demolish the said structures.

Learned Single Judge has disposed of the writ petition with the liberty to the petitioner to approach to the Special Task Force which has been constituted in terms of the orders passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court in M.C. Mehta v. Union of India & Others, (2019) 12 SCC 730 and M.C. Mehta v. Union of India & Others, (Sealing Issue, in Re), (2019) 12 SCC 419. 5.

Special Task Force does not have any jurisdiction to look into the grievances raised by the appellant/petitioner.

Learned counsel representing the MCD however states that the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Special Task Force. 7.

In view of the aforesaid, we do not find any good ground to interfere with the orders passed by the learned Single Judge. The appeal is thus dismissed.
