% 07.02.2020 1.

Although, in this writ petition, several reliefs are sought for by the petitioner, Mr. Sanjay Sharawat, who appears for the petitioner, submits that he is limiting the relief to consideration of the petitioner's application by the concerned regional committee.

2.

To be noted, the petitioner had filed an application for seeking recognition for conducting B.A.B.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed course for the academic session 2017-18. This application was filed as far back as on 7.6.2016. 3.

The record shows that an inspection was conducted by the Northern Regional Committee (NRC) on 19.7.2019.

4.

It is not in dispute that the petitioner's case stands transferred by virtue of Gazette Notification dated 27.01.2020, issued by the National Council for Teacher Education (in short "NCTE"), from NRC to Western Regional Committee (WRC).

5.

Issue notice. Mr. Karan Sharma accepts notice for the respondents. 6.

In view of the limited directions that I intend to pass today, Mr. Sharma submits that he does not wish to file a counter affidavit and that he will rely on the documents placed on record.

7.

Given the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the WRC to consider the petitioner's application in its next meeting. In case after deliberating on the petitioner's application, a decision is taken to issue a Letter of Intent (LOI), upon a compliance being made by the petitioner of the conditions stipulated in the LOI to the satisfaction of the WRC, a final decision will be taken in the matter before 3.3.2020 i.e. the cut-off date fixed for academic session 20202021. 8.
