The Jail Superintendent, Tihar Jail, appearing through Video Conferencing (VC) undertakes that the assignments, which are required to be submitted by the petitioner as part of his M.A. (Hindi) course for which he is enrolled at Indira Gandhi National Open University, shall be furnished immediately to the University as and when the petitioner will prepare his assignments and hand over to the Jail Superintendent. He will also facilitate the books and other study material, if needed by the petitioner.

The petitioner, who is appearing via VC submits that he will take around 10 days to prepare his assignments. The same should be furnished to the University by the Jail Superintendent promptly, if any study material is needed by the petitioner, the Superintendent Jail will provide the same as per rules. 4.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she is not pressing the present interim bail application as the Jail Superintendent has assured to facilitate the submission of the petitioner's assignments.

Noting the above undertaking, the application stands disposed of.
