% 08.04.2026 Mr. Krishan Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition, with a request that the petitioner's case be placed for premature release before the next meeting of the Sentence Review Board ('SRB').

Upon query, Mr. Kumar confirms that the petitioner has surrender back to custody in compliance of order dated 23.03.2026. He submits, that the petitioner has completed the minimum 20 years sentence, as was directed by the Supreme Court, in February 2026. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed-of as withdrawn; with a direction to the Jail Authorities to place the petitioner's case for premature release before the next meeting of SRB; and to communicate to the petitioner in writing the decision taken by the SRB. The petition is accordingly disposed-of in the above terms. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed-of.
