This writ petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- <a) issue writ of mandamus or such other appropriate writ as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper and thereby direct the Respondent to shift the electric pole near the premises No.18/141, Kalyanpuri, Delhi-I 10 091 and to ensure safety and security of the life of Petitioner and his family as well as for people living in neighbourhood;
b) issue writ of mandamus or such other appropriate writ as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit for further electric connection(s) to the Petitioner's residence after removing temporary meter;

Learned counsel for Respondent takes an objection to the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that the Petitioner has an alternate efficacious remedy to approach the District Magistrate/Divisional Commissioner.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition to take recourse to appropriate legal remedies. 6.
Writ petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed for in accordance with law making it clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
