O R D E R

By this petition, the petitioner has sought release on third spell of furlough for a period of two weeks simultaneously along with co-convict. A status report has been handed over which is taken on record. As per the status report, the petitioner was granted third spell of furlough for two weeks vide order dated 21st December, 2018. The petitioner did not approach the concerned office to furnish the cash surety required for release on furlough before which the co-convict who was availing his first spell of furlough was released vide order dated 4th January, 2019.

As per the status report, the co-convict is scheduled to surrender on 22nd February, 2019 immediately whereafter the petitioner will be eligible for release on furlough of third spell.

Considering the fact that the furlough period of the co-convict is over and on his surrender the petitioner would be eligible for release, no further orders are called for from this Court except that as and when the petitioner furnishes the personal and surety bond, he be released on furlough. 4.

Petition is disposed of.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
