The petitioner, who claims to be the owner/occupier of the agricultural land measuring 1 bigha 1 biswas in khasra no. 794 min (0-4), 804 min (0-4), 806 min (0-6), 809 min (0-7) situated in the revenue estate of village Mehrauli, Tehsil Hauz Khas, (Mehrauli), New Delhi, has filed W.P.(C) 2740/2025 Page 1 of 2 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, seeking directions for demarcation of the subject property.

Further to order dated 26.05.2025, Mr. Manish Batra, learned counsel for GNCTD, and Ms. Shobhana Takiar, learned Standing Counsel for DDA, have entered appearance.

Mr. Batra states that he has been instructed that, as recorded in order dated 26.05.2025, the village in question has been urbanised. 4.
Be that as it may, I am of the view that the petitioner's request for demarcation need not await resolution of any jurisdictional disputes between DDA and revenue authorities. The authorities may coordinate amongst themselves and undertake the process of demarcation at the expense of the petitioner.

Mr. Shoeb Shakeel, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner is willing to bear those expenses. The process be completed within a period of four weeks from today.

At request of Mr. Manish Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for respondent No. 6, it is made clear that this order is not intended to prejudice any other party, and the demarcation exercise has been carried out at the request of the petitioner, but the rights and contentions of any third party will not be affected, without following the due process of law. 7.
The petition, alongwith pending application, is disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
