This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ["the Act"], for extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a tender-bid acceptance letter dated 07.12.2015. 2.

The learned Arbitrator was appointed pursuant to an order of this Court dated 13.07.2022 in ARB.P. 1077/2021. It is stated in the petition that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator will expire on 27.03.2024. 3.

Learned counsel for the parties state that arguments have been concluded before the learned Arbitrator, and the Award has been reserved.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances above, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended for a period of six months, with effect from 27.03.2024.

The petition, alongwith pending application, stands disposed of in these terms.
