In compliance of the previous orders, affidavits of no-objection have been filed on behalf of respondent No.2/BSES (Yamuna Power Ltd.). The affidavits narrate that respondent No.2 has no-objection if the subject FIRs are quashed.

The records show that respondent No.2 has already given 'no-dues certificate' to the petitioner insofar as the civil claim towards theft of electricity is concerned.

The petitions are also supported by affidavits of the petitioner and of respondent No. 2, alongwith proof of their IDs. 5.

Vide order dated 07.04.2026, the presence of the petitioner for today was exempted.

Mr. Shoaib Haider, learned APP confirms that the State has no objection to the subject FIR being quashed.

In the circumstances, in line with the law laid down by the Supreme Court in Gian Singh vs. State of Punjab & Anr. reported as (2012) 10 SCC 303 as also in Narinder Singh & Ors. vs. State of Punjab & Anr. reported as (2014) 6 SCC 466, this court sees no reason why the subject FIR and all proceedings emanating therefrom should not be quashed. This court is of the view that in light of the settlement between the contesting parties, continuing with the subject FIRs and all subsequent proceedings would be an exercise in futility and would not be conducive to peace and harmony between the parties. 8.

Subject to the aforesaid condition, FIRs Nos. 523/2019 dated 15.07.2019, 537/2019 dated 20.07.2019, 522/2019 dated 15.07.2019 and 527/2019 dated 16.07.2019 registered under sections 135/138/150 of the Indian Electricity Act (Amend.), 2003 at P.S.: New Usmanpur, North East District, Delhi are quashed. All proceedings arising therefrom also stand closed.

10. Petitioner is directed to place on record the proof of payment of costs.

11. The Registry is directed to re-list the matter if costs are not paid as directed.

12. The petitions stand disposed-of.
