CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV SHAKDHER
O R D E R
% 06.03.2019 1.
Upon notice being issued in the captioned petition, Mr. S.K. Maniktala has entered appearance on behalf of the respondent. To be noted, notice was issued in the petition on 18.02.2019. Counsel for the respondent says that he does not wish to file reply as he does not oppose the prayer made in the petition for extension of time.
2.
The record shows that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 11.09.2017. Evidently, parties mutually agreed to extend the time by another six months beyond the statutory period of 12 months. The extended time frame is coming to an end on 11.03.2019. 3.
I am told by the parties that final submissions have been made and O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 65/2019
that only the award has to be passed. Accordingly, the extension of further 4 months commencing from 12.03.2019 is granted to enable the Arbitral Tribunal to render an award in the matter.
4.
The matter is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. RAJIV SHAKDHER, J MARCH 06, 2019 hs O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 65/2019
