O R D E R

% 13.02.2020 1.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that he be granted anticipatory bail in relation to FIR No.373/2019 under Sections 308/34 of the IPC registered with PS Kalyanpuri. 2.

The said FIR was lodged reporting that the petitioner and the coaccused had assaulted the complainant and his brother by throwing stones and by a sharp weapon.

The status report has been filed which indicates that the petitioner has joined the investigation. The MLCs also indicate that the injuries suffered by the complainant and his brother are simple and were inflicted by being struck by stones.

Considering the above and that the petitioner has joined investigation, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition.

Accordingly, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹15,000/- with one surety of an equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the concerned SHO/Investigating Officer (IO). This is also subject to the petitioner continuing to co-operating with the IO.

It is clarified that this order will inure to the benefit of the petitioner only till the chargesheet is filed.
