% 07.03.2025 1.

This is a petition seeking a grant of interim bail for a period of 3 weeks in FIR No. 790/2025 dated 31.12.2024 under Sections 110, 115(2), 3(5) of BNS registered at PS New Ashok Nagar, on the ground of the weddings of two brothers-in-law of the petitioner. 2.

It is stated that the weddings are scheduled on 05.03.2025 and 07.03.2025 and the reception is scheduled on 11.03.2025. 3.

It is also stated that the petitioner has been in custody since 13.01.2025.

Mr. Gautam, learned APP appearing on behalf of respondent, has handed over a status report, wherein the factum of the said weddings has been verified.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is granted an interim bail for a period of 1 week from today with the following terms and conditions:

a. The petitioner shall furnish a personal bond with one local surety in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) each, to the satisfaction of the concerned trial court; b. The petitioner shall not leave the country without the permission of the concerned court and if the petitioner has a passport, he shall surrender the same to the concerned trial court;

c. The petitioner shall furnish to the IO concerned the cell phone number on which the petitioner may be contacted at any time and shall ensure that the number is kept active and switched on at all times;

d. The petitioner will furnish his permanent address to the concerned IO and in case he changes his address, he will inform the IO concerned;

e. The petitioner shall not indulge in any act or omission that is unlawful, illegal or that would prejudice the proceedings in pending cases, if any;

f. The petitioner shall appear in Court on every date of hearing unless exempted;

g. The petitioner shall not communicate with, or come into contact with the complainant or any of the prosecution witnesses, or tamper with the evidence of the case. 6.

Nothing stated hereinabove shall tantamount to an expression of opinion on the merits of the case.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 8.

The matter has been put up on office note as there is an inadvertent error in para 1 of the order dated 07.03.2025 passed by this Court. 2.

The said para mentions "FIR No. 790/2025" instead of "FIR No. 790/2024".

The said error is corrected and the said order is modified to this extent. 4.
