The present petition has been filed by the petitioner raising a grievance that the petitioner‟s application dated 12.12.2023 for allotment of a common Symbol under Para 10B of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968 has not been processed by the respondent. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, submits that the said application has been duly examined by the respondent and came to be rejected vide commission‟s letter dated 29.02.2024. 3.

It is submitted that the petitioner submitted another application dated 16.02.2024, which was received by the respondent on 19.02.2024, which is under process; certain objections are stated to have been raised thereon. It is submitted that the respondent shall make an endeavour to dispose of the same expeditiously; however, the same shall be considered on its own turn The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. since pending pending applications are considered in serial order, on firstcome-first-served basis. 4.

Taking the aforesaid statement on record, the present petition is disposed of. The respondent shall also make an endeavour to ensure that the aforesaid application dated 16.02.2024 of the petitioner is processed and disposed of as expeditiously as possible, keeping in view the schedule of elections,so that the same is not rendered infructuous.
