The petitioner is seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for non-compliance of the directions of this Court dated 25.11.2024 passed in W.P.(C) 15435/2024. 4.

Learned counsel for the respondent is present on advance notice.

In a nutshell, the petitioner in the main petition was alleging some financial irregularities and fraud committed by the respondent No. 2 in reference to certain entries made in the balance sheets from the year 2014 to 2019.

This Court found that the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2020 has not been considered by the respondent. respondent No. 1 or for that matter any other regulatory authority, respondent No. 1 may take a decision to that effect in accordance with law.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent on advance notice today submits that the respondent has no jurisdiction to enquire into any kind of financial irregularities that are being alleged by the petitioner with regard to the functioning of Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank.

As a matter of fact, learned counsel for the respondent submits that even before the aforesaid directions were passed by this Court, the matter had been referred to the Ministry of Finance by the respondent for appropriate action at their hand.

The documents concerning the same have been placed on the record. Let the same be digitized.

The present petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
