% 16.02.2016 Crl. MA 2424/2016 Vide this application, the petitioner seeks extension of bail by four weeks on the ground that the surgery has already been taken place and now he requires post surgery care and attention.
The factum of surgery has been verified by the State, however, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State opposes the application by referring to the order dated 22.01.2016 vide which while granting interim bail to the petitioner, it was stated that he will not seek any extension on account of surgery. The counsel for the petitioner has placed on record the photograph of the petitioner and submits that after surgery, the stitches are yet to be removed. Under the circumstances, there is no ground for further extension of bail as prayed, however, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Superintendent Jail on 22.02.2016 at 10 am.
The application is accordingly disposed of.
