The learned counsel appearing for the respondent accepts notice.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the petitioner be released on parole in order to enable the petitioner to file a Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court of India. It is stated that the petitioner had applied for parole on 29.11.2019. However, he has not received any communication from the respondent. 3.

In view of the above, this Court considers it apposite to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's application and communicate its decision as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of two weeks from today. It is so directed.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 5.
