By way of these petitions, the petitioners seek quashing of two FIRs, i.e. FIR bearing no. 194/2013, registered at Police Station Kapashera, Delhi, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 323/341/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC') and FIR bearing no. 193/2013, registered at Police Station Kapashera, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 307/34 of the IPC and subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

2.

The petitioners and respondent no. 2 in both the FIRs are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsels and concerned Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Kapashera, Delhi. 3.

Briefly stated, facts of the present case are that the allegations in the aforementioned FIRs, arise out of misunderstanding, subsequent to which cross-FIRs were registered on the respective complaints against the petitioners under the relevant sections. However, it is stated that both the parties have amicably settled the present matter vide Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dated 10.02.2026, entered between them. 4.

On a query made by this Court, respondent no.2/complainant in both the FIRs, who have been identified by the concerned IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated by them that the entire dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and they have no objection if these cross FIRs are quashed. 5.

In view of the above fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIRs and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIRs in question. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

6.

Accordingly, FIR bearing no. 194/2013, registered at Police Station Kapashera, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 323/341/34 of IPC and FIR bearing no. 193/2013, registered at Police Station Kapashera, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 307/34 of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to each petitioner in CRL.M.C. 2190/2026 deposing a sum of ₹10,000/- with the Delhi High Court Bar Clerk's Association Fund and each petitioner in CRL.M.C. 2211/2026, deposing a sum of ₹10,000/- with the Delhi High Court Employees' Welfare Fund within a period of two weeks from date.
