The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent/MCD not to take any demolition action against the property of the petitioner bearing no. C 602, Hastal Road, Shani Bazaar, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-110059 (hereinafter 'subject property'), without following the due process of law.

It has been contended on behalf of the petitioner that earlier, the respondent/MCD had demolished the staircase and toilet attached to the subject property without issuance of any prior notice and without giving any opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

Having heard the counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent/MCD not to take any action against the subject property without following the due process of law. 4.
