These are petitions seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 740/2022 dated 09.11.2022 registered at PS Palam Village under Sections 420/ 34 IPC and chargesheet under Sections 420/467/468/471/34 of IPC. 2.

As per the FIR, there are allegations of cheating and fraud on the ground that the complainant was induced into entering into an agreement with respect to a property situated at Palam Village based upon forged and fabricated documents by the petitioners. 3.

During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties have arrived at a settlement on 30.07.2024 before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, wherein the petitioners have paid an amount of Rs. 35 lakhs to the complainant, i.e. Mr. Mool Chand Saini, and a flat as mentioned in the settlement agreement has also been given to the complainant.

The grandson of Mr. Moolchand Saini, namely, Mr. Vikas Saini, is present in Court, who is duly authorised to make the statement for and on behalf of the complainant, i.e. Mr. Mool Chand Saini, and states that the settlement has been arrived at out of their own free will, volition and without any threat, force, undue influence or coercion. 5.

Since the matter has been settled, there is no requirement of any arrest. Hence, the present petition for anticipatory bail is allowed, as the allegations in the FIR stand settled.

The parties will move for compounding / quashing of the FIR in accordance with law.

In case of any default in performance of the settlement agreement, the parties are at liberty to take appropriate action in accordance with law. 8.

The petition is disposed of.
