% 05.02.2020 This petition has been filed challenging the order dated 06.01.2020 passed by the District Magistrate, North East District, New Delhi under the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed an appeal challenging the Impugned Order before the Appellate Tribunal under the Rules, however, the appeal is yet to be listed and the petitioners apprehend that in the meantime the Impugned Order may be executed against them.

Keeping in view the submissions made, the Appellate Authority is requested to list the appeal expeditiously and consider the question of interim protection.

In the meantime, there shall be a stay on the operation of the Impugned Order.

It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any view on the merits of the claims made by the petitioners.
