O R D E R

% 18.02.2019 Respondent no.2-Tahir Khan is present in Court and has been identified by SI Sohanvir Singh of police station Darya Ganj. He submits that he has settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 11.02.2019. He further submits that in view of the settlement he has no objection in case FIR No. 142/2013 under Sections 356/379/323/427 IPC registered at police station Darya Ganj and the consequent proceedings are quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be

served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
