1. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in view of the peculiar facts of the present case, the respondents have taken a considered decision to depute personnel appointed under the Old Recruitment Rules as MTS only for duties for which they were recruited.

He hands over a copy of the communication dated 23.07.2024 from the DIG(Organisation) in this regard. The same is taken on record.

2. In view of the aforesaid decision taken by the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the petition any further.
