This petition has been filed for the following prayers: "(a) issue a writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, quashing and setting aside the impugned punishment order dated 08.01.2025, along with all consequential orders/actions including striking off the name of the Petitioner from the rolls w.e.f. 25.01.2025, as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of Articles 14, 21 and 311(2) of the Constitution of India;

(b) issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to reinstate the Petitioner in service with continuity of service, seniority and all consequential benefits, including pay, allowances and other service benefits;

(c) issue a writ, order or direction directing the Director General, Railway Protection Force, to decide the Petitioner's statutory appeal/revision pending before him, strictly in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order, within a time-bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Court, and till such decision, keep the impugned punishment order in abeyance;

(d) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction staying the operation and effect of the impugned punishment order dated 08.01.2025 and all consequential actions, during the pendency of the present writ petition;

(e) award costs of the present writ petition in favour of the Petitioner; and (f) pass such other and further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice."

One of the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the appeal has been rejected on 25.03.2025. The petitioner had filed a review petition on 14.07.2024 which is still pending. He states that he shall withdraw the petition if a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same within eight weeks. It is ordered accordingly. 3.

In view of the fact that we have granted time to the respondents, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition. 4.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
