% 25.04.2017 The status report submitted on 24.04.2017 indicates that the petitioner is involved in another case of similar nature, it being FIR No.304/2016 also involving offences under Sections 384/506 IPC as is the case of FIR No.337/2016 registered with Police Station Moti Nagar alleging offences punishable under Sections 384/341/506 IPC at the instance of the second respondent.
Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is involved in more than one case of extortion, it is not proper to exercise the extraordinary jurisdiction to entertain the request for quashing on the ground the petitioner has settled the dispute amicably with the second respondent. The petition is dismissed.
