O R D E R

This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties under an Employment Agreement dated 01.01.2019.

The learned Arbitrator was appointed pursuant to an order of this Court dated 08.01.2020, and entered into the reference on 12.03.2020. The mandate of the learned Arbitrator was, thereafter, mutually extended on 28.02.2023 for a period of six months which expired on 31.08.2023. A further extension of six months was granted by this Court vide order dated 01.09.2023 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 318/2023. 3.

Ms. Stuti Srivastava, learned counsel, appears on advance notice on behalf of the respondent, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

I am informed that the proceedings are at the stage of arguments. 5.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed, and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of six months w.e.f., 01.03.2024.

The petition, alongwith pending application, stands disposed of in these terms.
