% 23.01.2017 The status report tendered in court is taken on record. It has been verified that the petitioner's mother had hip replacement surgery and she needs medication and follow up. The mother of the petitioner has disowned her other sons and, therefore, it cannot be denied that the petitioner is required by the mother for her care.

The petitioner has already been out firstly on furlough and thereafter on parole for six weeks at a stretch. Considering the fact that the petitioner is serving a life sentence upon conviction under Section 120B/364A IPC, the parole of the petitioner is extended by a further period of four weeks on the same terms and conditions as earlier imposed, while making it clear that no

further extension shall be granted. In case the mother requires any further care and attendance, the petitioner shall make arrangement for the same in the meantime.
