The present petition has been filed by petitioner praying inter alia for issuing a writ of mandamus to the respondent No.2- BSF directing them to decide the petitioner's appeal dated 08.10.2015 against the order dated 28.07.2015 passed by DIG & Commandant, STC BSF, Chakur, Maharashtra.

Learned counsel for the respondents appears on advance notice and states on instructions that the appeal of the petitioner was decided on 7th January, 2016 and copy thereof has been dispatched to the petitioner.

Counsel for petitioner states that a copy of the decision has not been received by the petitioner so far.

Learned counsel for respondents states that another copy of the order passed on petitioner's appeal shall be handed over to learned counsel for petitioner within three days. 5.
