The present petition has been filed by the petitioner praying inter alia for issuing directions to the respondents/BSF to dispose of his pending appeal dated 09.10.2015 against the order dated 30.07.2015, whereunder he has been struck off from the strength of the BSF w.e.f. 28.07.2015 on the ground of colour blindness. 2.

Mr. Ankur Chhibber, proxy counsel appearing for the counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the present petition, the petitioner has received a copy of the order dated 07.01.2016 issued by the respondents, rejecting the petitioner's appeal. He hands over a copy of the said order, which is taken on record. W.P.(C) 699/2016
