% 25.02.2020 The original records have been perused. It is seen that in handwritten responses not on one occasion but on 3 occasions i.e. 12th January, 2018, 25th June, 2018 and finally on 25th July, 2018 the Petitioner ticked the box titled „No‟ to the specific query whether any FIR has been lodged and a case has been pending against him. The Court has also been shown the record of the relevant board proceedings which reflect that the committee constituted did consider the Petitioner‟s case in light of the law laid down in Avtar Singh v. Union of India (2016) 8 SCC 471. In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the Petitioner in the present case. The petition is dismissed.
