The Petitioner alleges that one Mrs. Jaswanti and her son, who are residents of 88, Sonia Gandhi Camp, Sector 7, RK Puram, South Delhi110022, are actively engaged in selling drugs to school children. To this effect, the Petitioner has filed complaints to the local police station and the concerned authority, however, no action has been taken to curb the illegal activity. Specifically, the Petitioner alleges that the local police station SHO, R.K. Puram, has also failed to take any action on these complaints. Accordingly, the instant petition has been filed, seeking the following prayer:

"a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the Respondents to decide representation dated 18.02.2025 and immediately conduct an independent and impartial investigation into the drug trafficking activities of Respondent no 6 & 7.

Ms. Rupali Bandhopadhya, ASC for State, submits that the complaint dated 18th February, 2025 has not been received by the local Police station R.K. Puram. Nonetheless, she states that since the copy has now been received along with the petition, an appropriate action in accordance with law, shall be taken on the said complaint.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with the following directions:

a.

The instant petition as well as the complaint dated 18th February, 2025 shall be examined by the SHO, PS, R.K. Puram and appropriate action be taken in accordance with law.

b.

All rights and contentions of the parties are left open. 4.
