% 06.02.2020 Vide this petition, petitioner is seeking protection from respondents No. 3 & 4 and to direct first respondent to frame guidelines for conducting the trial through video conferencing. Learned counsel for petitioner confines the relief sought in this petition to the first prayer only and submits that the second prayer is not pressed.

notice, and submits that the petitioner will be provided protection as and when he has to appear as witness before the trial court, provided he informs in advance with a copy of summons received by him. Heard.
Let the petitioner inform the concerned SHO well in advance with copy of summons as and when he has to appear as witnesses before the learned trial court. Let respondent/State ensure that protection is provided to petitioner when he has to depose before the learned trial court. Let Mobile number of Beat Constable, W/ASI, Division Officer as well as SHO be provided to the petitioners forthwith so that in case of any exigency, the petitioner can contact the concerned officials. It is however clarified that the protection provided to the petitioner will be limited to the period when he has to appear as a witness before the court. In view of the above, learned counsel for petitioner does not press this petition.
Allowed.
