The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that an order be passed directing the respondent to register an FIR for the unnatural death of his daughter.

The petitioner also prays that the orders be passed for seizure of the material evidence, recordings, call details of the accused persons and CCTV

footage.

Ms Rao, learned ASC states, at the outset, that an FIR will be registered and the necessary investigations will be conducted. She states that the police officials shall also analyse the CD containing the transcripts which have been annexed along with the present petition, if the same is handed over to them. The respondent is bound down to the aforesaid statements.

In view of the above, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
