The petitioner before this Court is an Advocate who was allegedly assaulted on 3rd November, 2014 by the three persons when the complainant along with the legal Manager of the Company whom he was representing was about to close the door of the taxi parked outside Gate C of the Supreme Court.

One of the assailants had been allegedly apprehended by the complainant himself while two others were brought to the police station by the public persons. The case FIR No.390/2014 under Sections 307/506/34 IPC was registered at PS Tilak Marg. After completion of the investigation charge-sheet has been filed.

By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution W.P.(CRL) 150/2015
of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C., petitioner has made the following prayers:- (i) To direct the respondents to do free, fair and proper investigations on the aspects mentioned hereinabove and/or direct the respondent No.2 to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the present case; (ii) To monitor the investigation.

On behalf of the State it has been submitted that in this case chargesheet has already been filed. The petitioner herein also filed an application under Section Cr.P.C.
before the concerned Court and Crl.M.C.3517/2015, which is pending before another Bench, has also been filed by the petitioner impugning the order passed on the said application. 5.
Since the investigation in the matter has already been completed and charge-sheet has been filed, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
