The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No. 0501/2018 under Sections 323/354/354(B)/506/509/34 of the IPC registered with PS Narela and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 is present in the Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer.
She states that the FIR in question was registered in view of a scuffle that had broken out between her family and the petitioners. She
states that concerned parties have since resolved all their disputes as both the families are residing in the same neighbourhood. She joins the petitioners in praying that the FIR in question be quashed.

The petitioners are present in the Court and are identified by their counsel. They also state that they have entered into a Settlement Deed dated 27.01.2020. They also volunteer to pay an aggregate sum of ₹50,000/- with the Delhi Police Martyr's Fund within a period of two weeks from today. 5.
Considering that both the fighting parties were neighbours and they have resolved all their disputes and considering the submissions made by the concerned parties, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition.

Accordingly, FIR No.
0501/2018 under Sections 323/354/354(B)/506/509/34 of the IPC registered with PS Narela and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed. This is subject to the petitioner depositing a sum of ₹50,000/- with the Delhi Police Martyr's Fund within a period of two weeks from today and on filing the proof of such deposit with the Registry of this Court within the said period. 7.
The concerned parties (petitioners and respondent no.2) shall sign this order as an acknowledgment of their statements recorded herein. VIBHU BAKHRU, J FEBRUARY 07, 2020/MK
